"My newest theory
The man (or men) never know more than it needs to know."
I was in a car, with some work friends, trying to get to this barbecue, and we were lost, really lost, the map could not help us at all to get there. There was only one lil man on the side of the road, pushing his bike, and we stoppend and asked him if he knew where the so and so hotel was. He never heard of it. and where the so and so road was, and he didn't know. And what was the name of the road we were in, and, well, he didn't know.
all he knew was that he lived in had been living in that area for over 20 years, but never saw a hotel.
So, that was the beginning of my newest theory.
Men don't know more than it need to know.
Why know the name of the road you've been riding for the past 20 years? Is it going to make any difference when you have to push your bike uphill from the town. You need to know that it takes 40 minutes to go home, and you push the bike for one third cause is uphill. And that if you leave with the sun rise, you can be back by lunch time...and things like that.
The name of the road, for this poor little man by the side of this road, is a mere, detail, he DOES NOT NEED TO KNOW.
there....said it. sorry it's in english, i just think better this way.
